2018 – The Year of the Peacock?

Bolly and me in 2016

Hello. I’m back after a bit of a break. Lots has happened since we last spoke.

The lovely Bolly, my best friend for 17 years, died in 2016. I’ll always miss her. She was such a sweety and so affectionate and funny.

I then adopted a dog, the delightful little Eddie, 5, at the start of 2017.

Eddie (aka Sausage)

Mum and Dad are 91 and 94 respectively now, so I’m spending more and more time with them which is nice. That’s involved taking a break from radio presenting and spending, for the first time in my life, a whole year in the UK.

I’m still living on the bosky fringes of Newcastle and recently bought the place next door which I’m renting out to a friend.

And I’ve suddenly had a whim to start blogging again. It’ll no doubt be the usual random balderdash and poppycock, like Trump on Twitter but very slightly less unhinged.
